Mary K. Wray Mary K. Wray, age 87 of Tipp City, Ohio, formerly of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 9:50AM on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at SpringMeade Health Care Center, Tipp City, Ohio. She was born on January 27, 1922 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Emil Albert and Mary Adeline Desmond Schnell. She was married to Daniel Edward Wray Jr. who preceded her in death on July 27, 2001. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Daniel E. Wray III and Brenda Wray of Denver, Colorado and Chuck and Debbie Wray of Tipp City, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law: Nancy and John Liebersbach of Gahanna, Ohio and Mary Beth and Woody Whilden of Littleton, Colorado; eight grandchildren: Daniel E. Wray IV Laura, Erin Darrell Cady, Katherine and Sarah Liebersbach, Matthew and Eric Whilden, and Alexa and Megan Wray; one great-grandson, Daniel E. Wray V and one step-great-grandson, Craig Williamson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert, William, Robert, and Charles Schnell. Mary K. was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School in Toledo and attended a two-year business college. She was formerly a bank teller and a bookkeeper at DeVilbiss Manufacturing, Toledo, Ohio. Mary K. was a devoted wife and mother, avid bridge player, gardener, and nature lover. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio and the United Methodist Women. She was a volunteer with the First Place Food Pantry. She was a member of the YMCA and the Silver Sneakers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, October 17, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, 110 W. Franklin Street, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 5-8PM Friday at the funeral home.
