Mary Elizabeth Turoff Volp Mary Elizabeth Turoff Volp, 82 of Troy, Ohio died Friday, February 18, 2011 at 5:00AM at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born November 14, 1928 in Springfield OH to the late George and Efigenia Tsironka Turoff. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond M. Volp on November 8, 2005, grandson Eric Volp, two brothers Christopher G. and John A. Turoff and sister Rose McMullen. Mary is survived by a stepson: Steven M. Barbara Volp of Germantown, Wisconsin and stepdaughter: S. Maria Vickie Volp of Iron Mountain, Michigan; brothers Nicholas P. Turoff of Springfield and Michael C. Virginia Turoff of Athens Greece; grandson Brian Volp of New Berlin WI; nieces Marina Gorey of New York NY, Clare Turoff of San Rafael CA, Mary M. Turoff Randall Partin of Aptos CA, Kristie A. Turoff Charles Ortmeyer of Alamo CA, Stephanie Steven Richey of McLean VA, Theresa McMullen of Springfield OH, and Theresa Fleury of FL; nephew Greg Turoff Sheila of Las Vegas, Nev. She was a graduate of St. Bernard School and Catholic Central High School in Springfield. A member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy; Quarter Century Club at Olan Mills Studios; Volunteer at "Right to Life" and also loved to dance. Mary was proud of her Macedonian heritage and regularly attended Macedonian conventions. She retired in 1987 from Olan Mills Studios as Personnel Supervisor after 41 years of service. A funeral mass will be held at 5:00PM Wednesday February 23, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating and at 1:00PM Thursday February 24, 2011 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Springfield, Ohio with the Rev. Fr. Paul F. Hurst officiating. Burial will follow the mass in Springfield at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio. Friends may call on the family Wednesday February 23, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM at Baird Funeral Home in Troy and 12 to 1 PM Thursday February 24 at St. Bernard Catholic Church.
