MARY SANDRA THOMPSON SHARP
MARY SANDRA THOMPSON SHARP, age 66, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy. She was born in Williamson, WV on October 2, 1948 to Gladys Ruth (Stissel) Thompson of Sidney and the late James Franklin Thompson, who preceded her in death in April of 2011.
Mary is survived by former husband, Robert Arnold Sharp of Fletcher; daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Tom Bergman of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Jenny Sharp of Troy; her loving companion who never left her side: Cooper; four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Patty Dohm of Georgia, Shirley and Jeff Feierstein, Jackie and Dale Razevich and Toni and Joe Hutchinson all of Troy; grandchildren: Maggie Bergman, Hunter Sharp, Ryan Bergman, Miranda Sharp, Sam Bergman, Abbey and Zach Overholser and Adam Bergman; great-granddaughter: Anna Marie Overholser; nephews and nieces: Michael and Rhonda Dohm, Denise and Brian Burns, Amy and Dave Heisey, Emily and Ryan Hatfield, Dan and Natalie Razevich, Ben Razevich, Joey (Frank) Hutchinson and Brandi and Jake Holbrook; and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
Mary was a 1966 graduate of Troy High School. She earned an Associate's Degree from Edison State College. Mary was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy. She was employed by Spinnaker Coating for 23 years from 1988-2011, where she held the position of Finishing and Operations Manager. Mary was an active member of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority, Mu Epsilon Chapter. She loved being in her back yard with her dog and flower beds.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy with Rev. Fr. James Duell as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call from 3-8 PM on Monday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority, Mu Epsilon Chapter, will hold a memorial service at 7:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
