Mary Annabell Smith, age 70, of Troy, OH passed away on April 8, 2023 at Hospice of Miami County, Troy, OH.  She was born on October 14, 1952 in Troy, OH to the late James E. and Virginia (Brown) Burns.

Mary is survived by her daughter: April (Jason) Deaton of Troy; grandchildren: Hope (Richard Tubbs) McGlaughlin and Amber (Kody) Shannon, both of Troy; two great grandchildren: Scarlette Tubbs and Skylar McGlaughlin; siblings: James (Beverly) Burns of Troy and Michael (Marcia) Burns of Piqua; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 14 years: Larry R. "Smitty" Smith and siblings: Virginia Fyffe, Barbara Crabtree, Jerry Brown and Orest Burns.

Mary attended Troy City Schools.  She loved spending time with her great grandbabies.  Mary was an avid Ohio State fan.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
