Mary Beth Wagler Schumm, age 52, formerly of Archbold, Ohio and Lena, Ohio and more recently of Troy, Ohio died on Friday, December 8, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born of Earles and Myrtie Lugbill Wagler. She is survived by her mother of Pettisville, Ohio, husband, Philip John Schumm of Lena, Ohio; Former Husband, Rick Allbee; daughter, Sarah Anne Allbee of Troy, Ohio; stepdaughter, Annie Schumm of Austin, Texas, Stepson, Matthew Schumm of Monmouth, Illinois; brothers and sisters, Richard Litsa Wagler, Gloria Larry Johnson, Robert Deanna Wagler, John Janet Wagler, Tom Jeri Wagler, Curtis Chris Wagler, Tim Sherry Wagler, and Chris Wagler. She was preceded in death by first husband, James Grover in 1980, father, Earles Wagler in 2006, brother, Daniel Ray Wagler in 1983. She was a member of the Lena OH Baptist Church, active with Mom's In Touch Troy Christian School and worked as a volunteer with MCC in the Appalachian Mountains. Graduate of Pettisville OH High School, Class of 1972. She earned her bachelors in education from The Ohio State University Columbus, OH and received a Masters Degree in counseling from the Lincoln IL Christian Seminary. She was a former teacher and active in daycare and currently working toward a career in chaplaincy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chaplaincy Education Program in care of UVMC Foundation, Hospice of Dayton, or charity of choice.
