Mary Ellen Schlatter, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on December 28, 2025 at Kettering Health Dayton. She was born on February 18. 1947 in Troy, OH, to the late William and Florence (McGalliard) Baker.

Mary is survived by her two children: Randy Schlatter of Phoenix, AZ, and Tammy (Doug) Hass of New Carlisle, OH; four grandchildren: Amber Wolfe of Troy, OH, Mindy (Ted) Harper of Springfield, and Samantha (Shawn) Strunk of Miamisburg, OH,  and John Hass of Miamisburg, OH; thirteen great grandchildren: Mark Wolfe, Kailyn Hale, Landin Hale, and ten additional; siblings: Betty Thompson, Martha McGillvary and Melvin Baker, all of Troy, OH and also survived by: Valerie (Steve) Thorn and family. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Floyd Herbert Schlatter and two sisters: Janice Ruckle and Kay Stone.

Mary retired from the deli and meat department at Kroger's, Troy.  Her special interests were gardening, animals and especially her great grandchildren.
