Mary E. House, age 67, of Troy, passed away on November 4, 2024, at Upper Valley Medical Center Emergency Room in Troy.  She was born on July 3, 1957, to the late Raymond and Easter Evelyn (Kerr) Valentine.

Mary is survived by her husband of almost 50 years: Guy F. House; two children: Bryan House of Warsaw, IN, daughter-in-law: Amy (Finlaw) House; and Angela (Phillip) Williams of Marion, IN; and five grandchildren: Lillian House, Judah House, Wyatt House, Jacen Williams and Oliver Williams. Mary was twelve of thirteen siblings and four of them survive: Richard (Cindy) Valentine, Sam (Debbie) Valentine, Jim (Vicky) Valentine and Pam (Steven) Schaefer; and one brother-in-law: Al Longberry.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings: Charles "Chuck" (Alice) Valentine, Judi Longberry, Joyce Valentine, Ronald "Ronnie" (Linda) Valentine, Carolyn Stapleton, William "Bill" Valentine, Robert (Michele) Valentine and Linda (John) Hartley.

Mary was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Piqua.  She was a graduate of Wilmington High School.  Mary enjoyed gardening, working outside and traveling, especially to the beach.  Mary also enjoyed being a grandma who loved spending time and spoiling her grandkids. Her three rescue cats were also very loved and spoiled.

Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Kelly Lee officiating.  Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM on Friday at the funeral Home.
