Mary Isabel Hawkins, 80, of Troy, Ohio died on Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio. She was born on October 23, 1926 in Troy, Ohio to the late Louis John and Mary Ries Sundrup. She married Willard R. Hawkins and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2004, they were married on September 1, 1947. Mary was a longtime resident of Troy, Ohio. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Thomas H. and Mary Hawkins of Troy, OH; daughter and son-in-law; Dottie Haulman and Ted Miller of Troy, OH; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Haulman and Jennifer Steve Monnin; two step-grandchildren, Aaron Nancy Miller and Andy Miller; two great-grandchildren, Christina and Austin Monnin; and two step-great-grandchildren, Katelyn Miller and Jacob Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Willard R. Hawkins II, three sisters, Edna Sundrup, Louise Attenweiler, Helen Bennett, and one brother, Norbert J. Sundrup. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia CLC. She was a 1944 graduate of Troy High School. She retired in 1986 following 20 years of service with Hobart Brothers Company; and formerly employed with Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 10:30AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. There will be a Rosary service held at 8:00PM, Monday at the funeral home. Friends may call on the family, Monday, November 27, 2006 from 4-8PM and 9:00-10:00AM on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the funeral home.
