Mary (Rush) Gray, age 84, of Troy, OH passed away on February 18, 2015 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  She was born on June 16, 1930 in Troy, OH to the late Floyd and Nellie (Gorman) Rush.  Mary was married to Homer Byrd and he preceded her in death.  She then married Edward L. Gray and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Mary is survived by her nephew, John Updike of Troy, OH and niece, Janet Gordon of Huntington, NY; stepsons and daughters-in-law: Daniel and Sherri Gray of Tipp City; Dale and Randie Gray of Troy and Richard and Jeannie Gray of Troy as well as stepgrandchildren and step-greatgrandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by four sisters: Helen Updike, Norma Rush, Lois Wilhelm, and Lucille Bostic.

Mary was a member of the Casstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being involved with her church and also spending time with her high school classmates. Mary was retired from DP&L.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Casstown United Methodist Church, Casstown, OH with the Rev. Maggie Sykes officiating. Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Tuesday.
