MARY ANN ARTHUR

Mary Ann Arthur, age 77, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away at Genesis Healthcare in Troy, Ohio on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.  She was born on August 25, 1936 in Whitesville, West Virginia to the late Christy and Della (Vault)Gee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her previous husband Verl Smith; a sibling in infancy; three brothers, Jerry Gee Sr., Christy Gee Jr., and Marian "Sonny" Gee; and one sister, Martha Couch.

Mary is survived by her husband, Dorsey "Ray" Arthur; daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Bill Brown of West Milton, Ohio; one sister, Evelyn Mertz of Sidney, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Daniel, Alisea, Isaac and Destanie.

Mary was a 1954 graduate of Miami East High School.  She wound motors at A.O. Smith prior to becoming a homemaker. She was formerly a member at Wings of Faith Church in Dayton, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
