Mary Estella Frost Mary Estella Frost, age 84, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born on July 10, 1926 in Troy, Ohio to the late Glen and Lucille Trent Yantis. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Michael Carter of Botkins, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Mona Yantis of Piqua, Ohio; one sister, Ruby Pelfrey of Huber Heights, Ohio; half-sister, Dorothy Shoup of California; two half-brothers, Ron and Jack Yantis of Troy; two grandchildren, Michael Whitmer and Jennifer Madewell; three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons. She is also survived by a host of wonderful nieces and nephews and dearest friend and cousin, Connie Marquis. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Dunn and Deloris Wilkinson; and four brothers: Bobby, Lawrence, Joe and Paul Yantis. She was a graduate of Elizabeth School and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy. She worked in nursing care for a long time; was a press operator in a Dayton firm for years and retired to continue caring for people in her spare time. A service will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Leckrone officiating. Friends may call from 1-5PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
