Mary Lou Ferguson, age 73 of Troy, Ohio died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born August 23, 1934 in Troy to the late Paul and Treva Smallenbarger Donovan. She is survived her husband of 54 years, Gerald L. Ferguson. Also surviving are her children, Bonnie L. and Von McKee, Patrick L. Ferguson, and Jerry L. Ferguson, brother, the Rev. Paul Donovan Jr., sister, Jane Iddings, and grandchildren, Teresa, Danny, Curt, Jason, Kricket, Gabe, Cody, Vonda, Brent, and Tammy, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Josh. A graduate of the Troy High School in 1952, she was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy and the Moose Lodge, Miami County Chapter No. 2283. She retired from Troy City Schools after 17 years as a school bus driver. She was also a piano teacher for many years. Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. Al Bastin officiating. Interment will be held in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8PM on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
