Mary Lucille Brown Mary Lucille Brown, age 92, of Troy, Ohio passed away at 6:30PM on Monday, March 12, 2012 surrounded by her family at Koester Pavilion, Troy after a long illness. She was born on December 27, 1919 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Arthur W. and Dorothy Short Burns. Her husband, Roy E. Brown, preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by her son, Larry Brown of West Carrolton, Ohio; daughters and sons-in-law: Phyllis and Ken Crawford of Tipp City, Ohio, Dorothy Stone of Troy and Carol and Ives Pruett of Springville, Indiana; ten grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Gloria Brown; one son-in-law, William Clinton "Bill" Stone; one grandson, Ed Brown; brothers, Arthur W. and Charles W. Burns; and sister, Margaret Carol Sentman. She attended the First United Methodist Church, Troy. Mrs. Brown worked as an operator for the Troy-Tipp Telephone. She enjoyed painting ceramics as a hobby. Services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with grandson, Pastor Todd Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00PM Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
