Mary H. Bewley Mary H. Bewley, 90, of Casstown, OH, passed away at 8:55AM Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney, OH. She was born August 15, 1917, in Lostcreek Township, OH, to the late Dan and Helena Montana Jones Hartman. She was married to Robert Bewley who preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Larry Patty Bookwalter of West Virginia, Bill Bookwalter of Casstown, OH, Jenny Starry of Troy, OH, Jim Miller of Florida, Michelle Miller of Washington, DC, Mark Bingham of Florida, John Bingham of California, and Mary Ann Bingham of California; two step-granddaughters: Nancy Sorenson of Casstown, OH and Bobby Peshek of Nevada; and one step-great-grandson, Tony Sorenson. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Bewley was preceded in death by her son, Bruce B. Bewley in 2003, three sisters: Dorothy Miller, Virginia Bookwalter and Ruthann Bingham. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy and a lifetime member of Cove Springs Grange. Mrs. Bewley was also a volunteer with Upper Valley Medical Center and the former Stouder Memorial Hospital with over 15, 000 hours of volunteer work. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the First United Church of Christ, Troy, with Rev. Al Bastin officiating.
