Mary Evelyn Bair, 82 of Troy, Ohio died Friday December 6, 2003 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born August 15, 1921 in Darke Co., Ohio to the late James L. and Margaret Flanagan Sargeant. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sherman S. Bair; 1 daughter and son-in-law Susan E. and Melvin Seitz of Troy; 2 grandchildren Kendra Taylor and Timothy Seitz; 2 great grandchildren Alexandra Taylor and Brandon Ward. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Donald and Clifford Sargeant. She was a member of Living Word Fellowship Church in Troy and had volunteered for 29 years at Detmer Hospital. She enjoyed traveling and was a good homemaker and loving mother. Services will be held Wednesday December 10, 2003 at 2:00pm at the Baird Funeral Home with the Revs. Gilbert and Phyllis Welbaum officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call on the family Tuesday December 9, 2003 from 6-8PM and 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
