MARY LOU FANNIN

Mary Lou Fannin, age 86, of Troy, OH passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Genesis Health Care, Troy. She was born November 6, 1928 in Lincoln County, WV to the late Ernest and Idona (Queen) Adkins. She was married to Chester N. Fannin for 57 years and he survives.

Mary Lou is also survived by her stepsons: Roger Fannin of CA and Michael Fannin of VT; three grandchildren: Isaac, Sara and Ruby; and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Orman Adkins and Herman Adkins.

Mary Lou was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy. She was also a volunteer at Stouder Hospital and at Upper Valley Medical Center, having served over 10,000 hours.

Chapel services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Huntington, WV.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH.
