MARTY LEE STANAFORD, JR.

MARTY LEE STANAFORD, JR., age 19, of Troy passed away on May 3, 2014 on the Ohio River.  He was born in Xenia on July 18, 1994. Marty is survived by his father and stepmother: Marty Lee, Sr. and Belinda Lee Stanaford of Troy; and his mother: April Wilder.

In addition to his parents, Marty is survived by siblings: Ashtin Lynn Stanaford of Beavercreek and Haley Leann Stanaford of Troy; grandparents: Bill and Debbie Wilder of Fairborn, Robert and Joyce Stanaford of FL and Bob and Joyce Callender of Troy; aunts and uncles: Sherry and Joe Peterson of New Lebanon, Robbie and Sheila Stanaford of Brookville, Angie Wilder of OR, Pam Allen of Fairborn and Christina and Keith Mote of West Milton; and numerous cousins.  He was preceded in death by one aunt: Vicky Allen.

Marty graduated from Troy High School in 2013.  He was also a graduate of Upper Valley Career Center in welding.  Marty enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home of Troy with Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery of Troy.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
