Martin L. Jackson, age 79, of Troy, OH passed away on February 9, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on August 16, 1943 in Troy to the late Martin W. and Elsie M. (Shane) Jackson.  He was married to Sharon E. (Williamson) Jackson for 33 years and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2010.

Martin is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law: Brian K. and Cheryl Jackson of Troy and Todd Jackson of Piqua; sister: Nancy Blair of Dayton and his five grandchildren: Cara, Ty, Zane, Brayden and Takota and one great-grandchild: Chloe.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son: Mitchell Jackson and brother: Larry Jackson.

Martin was a graduate of Piqua High School.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.  He retired from Hobart Brothers Company.  His passion was golfing, fitness and working on his hot rod.  He was a longtime golfer at Echo Hills and Miami Shores and an Amateur body builder in later years.  He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
