Martha Sue Kelly Skaggs, 62, of Troy, Ohio died on Monday, December 19, 2005 at 12:33am at the Harborside Health Care Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born on May 19, 1943 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Ellis and Florence Hazlet Blevins. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law; Pamela Kelly and Morris Rogan of Troy, Ohio; brothers, James Blevins of Troy, Ohio; Ellis "Jr." and Pam Blevins of Christiansburg, Ohio; Virgil and Jacqueline Blevins of Troy, Ohio and sister, Alice Evans of Hamilton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Shawna Travis; Shanna Myers and Sheena Myers all of Troy, Ohio and four great-grandchildren, Adara Myers; Jordan and Devan Wolford and Dorrian Travis and several nieces and nephews who loved and adored her. Also a special friend, Earl Keemer. She is preceded in death by Ray Blevins; Enith White and Haluldah Gilpin. She was a member of Agape Ministries, former member of Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ and former Sunday School teacher at Troy Gospel Tabernacle. She was a graduate and licensed graduate of beauty schools in Indiana, West Virginia and Ohio. She was a former Nursing Assistant at Villa Convalescent Center and retired beautician having worked at West Brook Beauty and with Koester Pavilion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 @ 8:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Pastor Charles Carnes officiating.
