Martha K. Bartik, age 79, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, November 03, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born in Belmont Co., Ohio on March 9, 1939  to the late Lee Garrison and Martha Bell (Ryan) Byard.

Martha is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mike Bartik; sons: Mark (Linda) Bartik of Rapid City, SD; Martin (Shelly) Bartik of Xenia; daughter Melanie (Michael Goddard) Barnhart of Troy; 2 granddaughters and sister Janie Magyar of Talmadge.

In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Martha proudly served her country in the US Navy from 1958-1961. She was a member of Versailles United Methodist Church, a school bus driver for Versailles Schools and a volunteer at Richards Chapel soup kitchen.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Troy with Revs. Dave Leckrone and David Richey officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00AM – 12:00PM prior to the service.
