Marjorie J. Rosen Marjorie J. Rosen, 86, of Troy, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Koester Pavilion, Troy. She was born December 8, 1921 in West Salem, Ohio, to the late Glen and Alice Thacher Henning. Her husband of 51 years, Richard W. "Dick" Rosen, preceded her in death. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law: Richard Paul and Teresa Rosen of Tipp City, Ohio, Robert Wade and Susie Rosen of Carmel, Ind. and James Allen and Nancy Rosen of Delphos, Ohio; one brother, Robert Henning; four sisters: Mildred, Onlee, Renee and Pat; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Mary, and brother Glen. Mrs. Rosen was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy and was a Den Mother of Pack 5 at the church. She was a US Army Veteran of WWII, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ashland College and taught third grade in the Troy City School system. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Rosen worked at the Miami County Auditor's Office and taught piano lessons. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy, with interment to follow. Friends may call from 10-11AM Saturday at the cemetery chapel.
