Marjorie Louise Mott Marjorie Louise Mott, age 91, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born on December 17, 1919 in Miami County, Ohio to the late Merle and Estelle Wheelock Kessler. She was married to William H. Mott and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2009. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Bill Barry of Hollywood, California, Shirley Davis of Pt. Charlotte, Florida, and Stacy Mott of Cincinnati, Ohio; sons, Randy Lynda Mott of Troy, Ohio, and John Pam Mott of Grove City, Ohio, sisters, Jean Art Roderer of Dayton, Ohio, Bobbie Art Griggs of Virginia, Marilu Bob Hine of Troy, Ohio; grandchildren, Richard Doughman, David Doughman, Dottie Saunders, Todd Saunders, and Tami Saunders, Christopher Davis, Connie Davis, Judy Buchanan, Meredith Scott Haynes, and Tyler Mott; and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Elaina Saunders; son, John Lee Fox; and sisters, Mildred, Lova, Jeanette, and Aletha. She was a longstanding attendee of the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio and former member of the Alturian Club and Realtors Club of Troy, Ohio. Marjorie owned and operated the Mott Real Estate Company and served as a real estate broker. She was a sports fan and enjoyed following The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. Marjorie was a very talented seamstress. She loved family, entertaining, and dancing to big band music with her husband, Bill. Marjorie was quietly happy with her life. She exuded grace, dignity, and beauty and will serve as an inspiration to all who knew her. Service will be held 7:00PM Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
