MARJORIE L. MCCOY Marjorie L. McCoy, age 78, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Koester Pavilion after a year long battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Burl and Edith Blazer, she was born October 29, 1925 in Yellow Springs, Ohio and grew up there and in Columbus, Ohio. Other residences included Wichita, Kansas, Akron, Ohio and Troy for the past 27 years. She married Ellsworth McCoy in 1949 and enjoyed a 16-year marriage until his death in 1965. She is survived by: two sons, Bart of Troy and Glenn of Akron, Ohio; Daughter-in-law, Crystal and three grandchildren, Tiffany; Tracee and Nicholas, all of Akron, Ohio, survive her. A former Housewife, Marjorie had been in the Antique Business for the past 35 years, which enabled her to travel and make many friends. It has been said that a person's life is measured by the friends they have, if that is true, then our mother was truly blessed with the nicest, kindest and most generous friends anyone could have and we thank you. A Special thanks to Dr. Pradip Vyas and his staff, you are true "Angels on Earth", your special care, attention, and compassion to our mother over the years and especially during the last few months will always be remembered and appreciated. Our mother was very fortunate as she lived a complete life and was blessed with very good health for 78 of her almost 79 years. She was proudest of her three grandchildren, all, highly recognized current or former student/athletes in high school and college. And we were all very proud of her.
