MARJORIE M. ANDERSON, age 98, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born on November 29, 1918 in Troy to the late Frank and Clara (Emmerson) Furrow.

Marjorie is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Albert Anderson of Troy and Ole H. and Carol Anderson of Piqua; grandchildren: Lisa Monnin, Christopher Anderson, Patricia Lamme, Timothy Anderson, Kelli Bowman, Kurt Anderson and Kari Stewart; and sixteen great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Kasper Albert Anderson; and several brothers and sisters.

Marjorie attended Troy High School.  She had previously worked for Midwest Nursing.  She had also been employed by Fayette Beauty Shop as a beautician for 28 years.  Marjorie attended First Lutheran Church in Troy.  She was a former member of Troy Grandmothers Club.  Marjorie enjoyed shopping.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call from 10:00–11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
