Marjorie L. Chesnut Marjorie L. Chesnut, 84, of Troy, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Alterra Sterling House in Troy. She was born July 7, 1922, in Troy, Ohio to the late Purl L. & Leona M. Lauerman Chesnut. Ms. Chesnut is survived by her brother & sister-in-law, Richard L. and Mary Isabelle Chesnut of Avon Park, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Clare E. and Robert Gilbert of Deshler, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Purl L. & Leona M. Chesnut; and her brother, John K. Chesnut. Marjorie was a very active member of First United Church of Christ and Troy Senior Citizens. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 11, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the First United Church of Christ, Troy, with Rev. Carol Bastin officiating. Baird Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
