Marion "Sonny" Gee Marion "Sonny" Gee, 73, of Troy, Ohio, died at 7:10PM on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born November 1, 1934, to the late Christy and Della Vaught Gee. He married Emma Hicks Gee who preceded him in death in 2002. He is survived by four children: Diana Terry Petty of Troy, Marion E. Cyndi Gee of Troy, Della Brewer of Troy and Mary Kenneth Coulter of Piqua; three sisters: Mary Ann Arthur of Tipp City, Martha Couch of Tipp City and Evelyn Martz of Sidney; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, Sonny was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 43. He also worked as a lineman with power companies. Services were held at 11:00AM Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy, Ohio. Calling hours were held following the service at the chapel.
