Marilyn Scott Foote, age 94, of Troy, OH passed away on June 30, 2022 at the SpringMeade Healthcare Center in Tipp City, OH.  She was born on November 28, 1927 in Piqua, OH to the late Earl Clayton and Lew Marie (Davis) Scott.

She is survived by her six children: Marcia (John) Lane of Cincinnati, OH; John (Cindy) Foote of Troy, OH; Melissa (Tom) Jakubek of Oakland, CA; Cynthia (Jeff) Weaver of Troy, OH; Steve (Emily) Foote of Troy, OH and Susan (Vince) Ashcraft of Piqua, OH; thirteen grandchildren; five step grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband: John B. Foote III and siblings: Robert Scott and Marjorie Reiniger.

Marilyn was a 1947 graduate of Piqua Central High School.  She was a vocalist in her earlier years.  She was formerly employed with the Miami County Sheriff's department, was a Viviane Woodard skincare consultant and operated a t-shirt shop in downtown Troy.  She was an unofficial Boggle champ and enjoyed Wii-bowling.  She loved reading, especially beach reads, and an avid Golden State Warriors Basketball fan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on July 14, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00am– 1:00pm on July 14 at the funeral home.
