Marie Thompson, 88 of Troy Ohio died Sun. October 17, 2004 at Koester Pavillion Nursing Home in Troy, Ohio. She was born November 9, 1915 in Aurora, Indiana to the late Stanley and Iva Campbell Scudder. She married Robert E. Thompson on October 27, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1988. Survivors include one son and daughter in law Larry and Mary Thompson of Troy; step-son Robert Thompson of Hamilton, Ohio; one step-daughter and son-in-law Rose and Gene Browning of Westchester, Ohio; one sister Elizabeth Bunger of Ft. Myers Florida; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Lawrence and Alvin Scudder. Marie taught beauty school and was a beautician in Hamilton Ohio for many years. She loved cooking and camping for and with family and friends. She was a member of the Ross Christian Church in Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 20, 2004 at 2:00PM at Ross Christian Church in Hamilton, Ohio. Burial will follow at Venice Cemetery in Ross. Friends may call on the family Tuesday October 19, 2004 from 6 to 8 PM at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy, Ohio and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
