Marie Hoover, 98, of Troy, Ohio died on Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Caldwell House, Troy, Ohio. She was born in Covington, Ohio on October 19, 1907 to the late William and Dona Crampton Finfrock. She married G. Carl Hoover, and he precedes her in death on March 9, 1980. She is survived by sons & daughters-in-law; Richard & Joyce Hoover of Troy, OH; David & Karen Hoover of Lancaster, OH and William & Donna Hoover of San Dimas, CA; eight grandchildren, six grandsons and two granddaughters and eleven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Isobel Sink; Ethel Smith and Maude Longendelpher; brothers, Barney; Homer; Milo; Ralph; Roger and William Finfrock. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio for over 75 years and was a member of the Asbury Circle at the church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. James C. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
