Marianne Marshall, 72, died at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio afer suffering from Alzheimers for several years. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Dexter Marshall; sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Kerrie Marshall of Grove City, Ohio; Andrew and Lauren Marshall of Univesity Heights, Ohio; Matthew Marshall of Shaker Heights, Ohio; Daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Allan Avery of Jackson, Michigan and Jane Marrshall of Eugene, Oregon; sisters, Betty Seitz of Cincinnati, Ohio and Peggy Krause of St. Louis, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law: Daniel and Wilma Viel of Phoenix, Arizona; eight grandchildren: Ashley, Amanda and Aaron and Jacquelyn Marshall; Emily, Brett, Bridget and Jessica Avery. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Vogt Viel. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio; was a realtor with Garden Gate Realty for five years and was a substitute teacher. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday, August 29, 2003 and from 9-10 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at Baird Funeral Home. A service will be held at 10:30AM Saturday, August 30, 2003 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Thomas Brunner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association.
