Mariana Kay Myers, age 89, of Troy, OH passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024.  She was born on November 3, 1934 in Troy, OH to the late Kenneth L. and Maynard P. (Trout) Mauk.  She married Max A. Myers on June 16, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2002.

She is survived by her daughters: Melinda K. (Charles) Phelps of Covington and Margo A. (Steve) Myers-Massey of Long Island, NY.

She was a 1952 graduate of Troy High School and a graduate of Miami Jacobs Business College.  She worked as a secretary for 30 years at Aeroproducts, in Vandalia, Boeing Airplane Company in Seattle and the Troy Board of Education.  She assisted her husband, Max in operation of Hallmark Card shops in Troy, Dayton, Tipp City and Bellefontaine.

She volunteered as a girl scout leader and camp counselor.  Following retirement, she was a volunteer with Troy City Schools.  She enjoyed traveling extensively with her family.  She was an avid reader, animal lover, gardener and Hallmark movie enthusiast.

Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home with private interment in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
