Obituary

Marian Julien, 74, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 5:35PM at her residence. She was born on April 11, 1930 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Frank H. and Clara Keyser Ward. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dennis Julien and their three children; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Rev. Jeffrey Melanie Julien of Shadeville, Ohio; Jonathan Linde Julien of Denver Colorado; and Daughter & Son-in-law: Jennifer & Dr. James Mathias of Tipp City, Ohio. She is survived by sisters, Ethel Petru of Columbus, Ohio; Ruth Claude Tabor of Worthington, Ohio; Vera Robert Andrews of Parson, Kansas; and brother, John Ward of Denver, Colorado. She has twelve grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; ons sister, Luella Garen and two brothers, Frank and Elmer Ward. She was a member of Troy Christian Church; Chairman of World Day of Prayer; Troy Museum Vice President; Active in art classes at Troy Hayner, primarily clay sculpting; was Children's leader in Bible Study Fellowship, Bible study leader, avid gardener, devoted wife and mother. She attended Moraine Valley Community College in Illinois. Pastor Chris Heiss and Rev. Jeffrey Julien will officiate the service with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. Contributions may be made to the Missionary Fund at Troy Christian Church, Troy, Ohio.
