Margaret H. 'Peggy' Friend is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Ralph Flor; her close friend of 62 years, Billie Eidemiller.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. and Lizzie Baker Hawk, three sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Friend was a past member of Miami Shores Golf Club and was founder of Peggy Friend's Dance Band.

Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Troy, Ohio.
