Margaret Thomas Harshbarger, age 89 of Royal Arkansas and formerly of Troy, Ohio died Sunday, August 11, 2002 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Born of the late, Noah M. Thomas and Prudence Hutchinson Thomas on July 28, 1913 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald M. in 1981 and daughter, Janet Short in 1995. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Charles Chatham of Royal, Arkansas and son-in-law, Mark Short of Troy; sisters, Gillian Leach of Centerville and Betty Royer of Frankenmuth,MI and five grandchildren. A member of the First United Church of Christ for over 60 years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #256 for over 50 years.
