Margaret Lucille Zimmerman Garwood, 83, a lifelong resident of Troy, Ohio died on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at the Dayton Heart Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born on July 22, 1922 in Piqua, Ohio to the late William and Clara Bilhimer Zimmerman. She married Edgar Dwain Garwood whom she married, April 6, 1941 and he precedes her in death in 1985. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Carol & Steve Swabb of Castine, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law; Harold & Betty Zimmerman of Piqua, Ohio; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and son, Cecil D. Garwood; three sisters and one brother. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Her gentle ways, her sense of humor and her strong faith will be remembered and missed by many. She was a former employee of DARE, Troy, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 10:30am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Bishop Grant Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Wednesday, July 12, 2006 from 5-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
