Margaret E. Francis, 66, of West Milton, formerly of E. Canal Street in Troy, died Saturday, August 5, at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima.

Mrs. Francis was born February 12, 1934, to the late Elmer and Nora Honeyman.

She is survived by her husband, John E. Francis; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and David Lucas of West Milton; brothers, Roy Stump of Piqua, Perry Honeyman of Troy, Elmer 'Buddy' Honeyman of Troy; three grandchildren, David John Lucas of West Milton and Patricia Curl of Houston; and six great-grandchildren, Ashaya Lucas, Sharae Lucas, Makayla Lucas, Patrick Curl, Isiah Curl and Jonathon 'JonJon' Lucas; and nieces and nephews, Nora Highnote Creel, Don Highnote and Dale Highnote, all of Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosemarie Francis; sisters Delphia Honeyman Highnote and Catherine Conard; brother, Richard Honeyman; great-granddaughter, Kara Christman and nephew Brian Highnote.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with family members Keith Creel and Harold Honeyman officiating.  Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery.

Friends may call the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday.  Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
