MARGARET CAROLYN CARGILL

MARGARET CAROLYN CARGILL, age 94, of Troy passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at her residence.  She was born in Farwell, MI on August 1, 1920 to the late Emil and Anna ( Sherman) Foell.  Her husband of 68 years, Levoyd "Lee" Cargill, survives.

Margaret is also survived by two sons: Michael L. (Annette) Cargill of Troy, OH and Phillip D. (Ann) Cargill of Overland Park, KS; six grandchildren: Scott (Lori) Cargill, Erin (Michael) Twiss, Lauren (Jason) Patton, Andrea (Thomas) Doyle, Phillip Cargill and Maggie Cargill; and eight great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one son: Russell L. Cargill; and one sister: Betty Hansen.

Margaret was a graduate of Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI.  She was a teacher prior to taking time off to raise her children.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Friends may call from 12-2 PM on Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
