Marcia L. Pearson, age 69, of Troy, OH passed away January 19, 2021.  She was born on February 18, 1951 in Troy OH to the late Vernal and Vickie (Compton) Caldwell.  She married Gary Dean Pearson in April, 1976 and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2005.

She was preceded in death by brother: Jim Caldwell of Seguin, TX. Marcia is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Carrie (Pearson) and Kevin Glover; grandchildren: Victoria Mae Glover and PJ Glover all of Troy; sister: Linda (Chuck) Jackson of Tipp City; sister-in-law: Kathy Lutz; nieces and nephews: Michelle (Brad) Bell, Jason (Sheryl) Jackson, Ross (Jill) Jackson, William (Ashley) Lutz and Ryan Lutz; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Marcia graduated from Troy High School in 1969 and is a retired Billing Clerk/Supervisor with the City of Troy Water Department. She was an active member of Troy First Church of God. At church Marcia enjoyed sharing her gifts of faith and encouragement, sewing and crafting skills and her kind and caring nature to make known the love of Jesus to others. Marcia was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and held various officer positions. She loved the fellowship with her sisters and was honored to make the annual scrapbook. Marcia had a love of the arts and shared her gifts and talents not just on stage but backstage by creating costumes, props and lobby displays for numerous productions with Troy Civic Theater and Troy High School. Marcia was an inducted member of Troy High School Thespian Troupe #1553 where she especially loved sharing positive and encouraging wishes with all the youth.

Above all, Marcia valued and put her relationships with her family first.   She was delighted to be a loving and generous "Mimi" helping behind the scenes, attending events, encouraging, supporting, and loving her grandchildren at every opportunity. She enjoyed crafting, decorating, playing games, and cherished her outings & vacations with her daughter's family. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all those who were so lavishly loved and positively influenced by her generous nature, reassuring ways and faithfulness.

A Celebration of Life gathering on February 18, 2021 at 10am, funeral to begin at 11:30am at Troy First Church of God 924 Troy Urbana Rd in Troy.  Graveside services to follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.
