MAJOR GENERAL JACK WESLEY WATERS, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, OH. He was born on December 17, 1927 in Sultan, Washington to the late Marvin Rufus and Mathea (Nybokken) Waters.

Jack is survived by his wife: Ann (Fogelberg) Waters; son: Jack Wesley (Tina) Waters, Jr. of Clayton, OH; daughter: Susan (Pete) Kordalis of Oakwood, OH; grandchildren: Niko Kordalis, Joseph Waters, Noah Waters, and Kristine Haynes; and one great granddaughter: Layla; and one great grandson: Mason Haynes. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his grandson Michael his brother Ernest Waters.

Jack retired as a Major General in the Unites States Air Force after 36 years of service. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars and was the former Commander of the International Logistics for the United States Air Force. Jack was Past President of the WACO Air Force Society and previously served as the Chairman of the Troy Planning Commission. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Troy, OH.

Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Troy, OH on Thursday October 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating. Burial will follow in the National Veteran's Cemetery in Dayton. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
