Mackie Jane Stanfill, age 84, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born in Fort Smith, AK, on January 28, 1939, to the late Ray and Lois (Kincannon) Carson.

Mackie is survived by two children: Phillip Randall Stanfill of Troy and Cindy Skaggs of Dayton; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Mackie was preceded in death by her husband: Delbert Stanfill; one son-in-law: Robert Skaggs; and one grandson: Brian Skaggs.

Mackie was a member of First Light Church in Vandalia.  She was a loving homemaker.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
