Mabel E. Jackson, 72, of Troy, Ohio, died on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 11:25am AT Harborside Healthcare Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born December 17, 1932 in Tipp City, Ohio to the late William and Ivy Berry Boyer. She married John I. Jackson, and he precedes her in death. She is survived by three children, Dave Christine Jackson of Troy, Ohio; Ken Sharla Cantwil of Bozeman, Montana and Pam Jackson of Troy, Ohio. Also surviving are siblings, Minnie Helman of West Milton; Nelson Marilyn Boyer of Troy; Margie Day of Florida; Betty Lowell Trostel of Troy; August Jean Boyer of Troy and Willis Elaine Boyer of Troy. Also two grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson of Troy, Ohio and Dustin Cantwil of Bozeman, Montana and one great-grandchild, Kaylee Kalmar of Troy, Ohio. She is preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Leroy Boyer; William Boyer, Jr.; Mary Mel Adams; Lyman Ruth Ann Boyer; Dorothy Roy Beard; and Mae William Slack. She served in the US Marine Corps for 3 years, received rank of Sergeant. She was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School in 1952 and a graduate of cosmetology school. She retired from Trojan Village Beauty Salon and formerly a longtime beautician at Westbrook Beauty Salon. Friends and family welcome at the graveside service on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 10:30AM at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Veterans honor guard services will also be held at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
