Mabel L. Hunt, 88, formerly of Casstown and more recently of Caldwell House,Troy died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Koester Pavilion. She was born December 20, 1914 at Christiansburg, Champaign Co., Ohio to the late Lanford W. and Bessie E.Hendriexson Stottlemyer. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marion J. Hunt in 1993. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ronald Harbaugh of Troy; two grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, Christopher Harbaugh and Scott and Jennifer Harbaugh, both of Troy; great granddaughters, Grace and Madison Harbaugh; sister-in-law Dorothea Ford of Fletcher; and nieces Janet Koch and Peggy Argabright. She was a graduate of Lostcreek High School, Casstown in 1933. She was a member of the Casstown United Methodist Church where she was the choir director nearly 40 years and a member of the women's society. She was a member of the UAW Retirees Club of Hobart Manufacturing Co. Troy and the Francis Willard WCTU Unit of Troy. She was an active member in many community activities and had worked part-time at the Casstown Post Office. Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 29, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Casstown United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Ramming officiating. Burial will follow at Casstown Cemetery.
