Mabel M. Davis, 88 of Troy died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 at Harborside Healthcare Center in Troy. She was born Nov. 6, 1913 to the late Alva J. and Bertha Rudisill Davis. She is survived by her brother Chester Davis of Casstown and a sister, Mrs. Paul Margaret Batdorf of Troy, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother George Davis and three sisters Rosella Davis, Mary Davis and Myrtle Brown. Miss Davis was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren and the Hobart Brothers Quarter Century Club. She was a graduate of Elizabeth High school and retired from Hobart Manufacturing after many years of service. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Sheila Shumaker officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 at Baird Funeral Home.
