M. Louise Peacock, 90, of Troy and formerly of Pleasant Hill died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003. She was preceeded in death by her husband, C. Kenneth Peacock whom she married March 23, 1935; her parents, Frank and Margaret Brumbaugh Puterbaugh; two sisters, Miriam Wenger and Katherine Lutz; one brother, Harold Puterbaugh; and one grandchild, Brian Hutchins. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Joel Walker of Troy, Carol and Byron Jackson of Covington and Peggy and Rev. Curtis Crowther of Burnsville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Susan Walker-Hemm, Michael Walker, June Jackson, Deron Jackson, Amy Gerlach and Jill Beers; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Peacock was born June 30, 1912 in Montgomery County and graduated from Randolph High School in 1930. She was a registered nurse, graduating with honors from the Miami Valley School of Nursing in Dayton. She retired from Stouder Memorial Hospital in Troy. She was an active member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Private services will be held and there will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Baird Funeral Home, Troy is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.
