M. Jane Klepinger M. Jane Klepinger, age 92, of Troy, Ohio, died at 3:45AM on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born on January 29, 1917 in Lewisburg, Ohio, to the late Russell F. and Freda Keithley Bauman. Her husband, Roger Klepinger preceded her in death on January 30, 1961. She is survived by son, Gale Jane Klepinger of Troy, Ohio; daughters: Dinah Dan Wolfe of Frisco, TX, Nan Dan Kennelly of Wilmington, Ohio; brother, Samuel Bauman of Carson City, Nevada; eight grandchildren: Jennifer Mark Wolf Cook, Elizabeth Tim Wolf Whitaker, Daniel Delores Wolf Jr. all of Texas, Robert L Anderson of Fredricksburg, VA, Michelle Jane Brett Foster of Newburgh, IN, Caitlin Anne Kennelly of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Erin Rich Thompson of Wilmington, OH, Katie Deeter of Troy, Ohio; and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Klepinger was preceded in death by two sisters, Phoebe and Sarah and one grandson, Andrew. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio, Troy Senior Citizens and PERS Retirees. She was an avid Bridge Player and volunteered at Brukner Nature Center, Troy, and Overfield Tavern, Troy. She served as Secretary with the Miami County Republican Party Central Committee for many years. Mrs. Klepinger was the first woman to be elected to Pleasant Hill City Council and was very active in PTA, Girl Scouts and The United Church of Christ in Pleasant Hill, Ohio. She retired from the Miami County Board of Elections where she served as Director for 20 years. Celebration of Life will take place Saturday March 7, 2009 at 11:00AM at the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton, Ohio. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to First Place c/o First United Methodist Church, 110 W. Franklin Street, Troy, Ohio 45373.
