Lydia Wenning Goldner Lydia Wenning Goldner, age 95, passed away at 6:10AM on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She resided at the Alterra Sterling House, Troy, for the past six years. The family appreciates the excellent care the staff provided. Mrs. Goldner was born on January 1, 1913, in Linton, North Dakota to the late John and Katherine Wenning. Her husband of 52 years, John Adolf Goldner, preceded her in death on December 26, 1998. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mark W. and Connie Goldner of Troy; two sisters, Rebecca Mobley of Stockton, California and Esther Jacobs of Mt. Vernon, Washington; and two grandchildren, Becky and Kevin Goldner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, her husband, nine sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Goldner was a homemaker and in her early years, a beautician in Walla Walla, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. James C. Wilson II officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
