Obituary

Lydia Lois Cram, 86, of Troy, Ohio died on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at he home of her son in Kettering, Ohio. She was born on October 24, 1919 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Frank and Orpha Brock Welbourn. She married John C. Cram and he precedes her in death. She is survived her daughter & son-in-law; Suzanne and Gary Mathes of Mansfield, OH; son & daughter-in-law; Charles W. Cram and Carol C. Chatfield of Kettering, OH; three grandchildren, Anne Louise Mathes of Mansfield, OH; Kevin John Kathi Cram of Chicago, IL; and Erin Cram Dan Rodgers of Kettering. She is preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie St. Myers and two brothers, Dr. W.E. Welbourn and Dr. R.W. Welbourn. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Troy, OH; Troy Museum; Ohio Historical Society; Troy Senior Citizens; Friends of the Library; coordinator of the Summer Reading Program; Friends of the Air Force Museum; National Association of Retired Federal Employees and Lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority. She was a graduate of Mississinawa Valley High School, Jackson Twp., OH in 1937 and The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH in 1941. She was retired Owner & teacher of Jack & Jill Nursery School. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at 3:30PM at the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Family will receive friends following the memorial services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 110 W. Franklin Street, Troy, Ohio 45373 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
