Luther Leroy "Lute" Baden, age 92, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Troy Hospital – Kettering Network.  He was born on July 31, 1929 in Napoleon, Ohio, to the late Rudolph Charles and Emma Kathryn (Hasemann) Baden.

Luther is survived by children: Brad (Cathy) Baden of Troy and Brenda (Greg) Morneau of Scarbough, ME.; grandchildren: Sarah and Peter Morneau and Jared, Joel and John Baden.

In addition to his parents, Luther was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years: Henrietta Baden on May 20, 2020; and brother: Eldor Baden.

Luther was an accountant and manager for Countrymark Co-op, Inc., for 32 years, having attended Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo.  He was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of the First Lutheran Church in Troy since 1999.

Service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 15, 2021 at First Lutheran Church in Troy, with Rev. Jess Abbott officiating, with burial to follow in Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance, OH.  Family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 AM on Monday at the church.
