Obituary

Lowell J. Perry, age 75, of Troy, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at his residence.  He was born on July 4, 1947, in Whitley City, KY, to the late Floyd Russell and Verdie (Bryant) Perry.

Lowell is survived by his wife of 50 years: Ruby Diane (Cupps) Perry; three brothers: Harold Perry of Piqua, Chester (Norma) Perry of Christiansburg and Larry Perry of Christiansburg; one grandchild: Natasha Gilardi of TN; three great grandchildren: Kayla Gilardi, Cavin Gilardi, Kinsley Gilardi and James Gilardi; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Brenda Newberg; and seven siblings: Doris Whipp, Vera Fries, Bernard Perry, Doyle Perry, Jean Perry, Ivory Perry and Lloyd Perry.

Lowell proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Lowell loved antiques, car shows and working on race cars.  He was a machinist at PMI for 27 years then at Sturtech Tool.  Lowell was also a MDR care provider.

Graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Dayton National Veterans Cemetery.  Procession will depart Baird Funeral Home, Troy, at 8:00 AM on Wednesday.
