Loren Ray Yoder, DDS age 65, of Troy, Ohio died on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 after an extended illness. He was born on December 13, 1939 near Hartville, Ohio to Jonas M. and Fannie P. Erb Yoder. Ray is survived by his mother of Hartville; his wife of 42 years, Myrna K. Mote; sons and daughters-in-law; Jay and Mindy Yoder of Troy, Ohio; Brett and Kelly Yoder of Howell, Michigan and Tim Yoder of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughters and son-in-law; Megan and Chris Liles of Raleigh, North Carolina and Holly Yoder of Sidney, Ohio; his twin brother and sister-in-law; Leon J. and Ina Yoder of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Gloria Landry of Cincinnati and Deborah K. Lavy of Hartville, OH; and his three grandchildren, Adam, Lauren and Ben Yoder. Ray was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy. A graduate of Washington High School, Massillon, OH, he received his BA in Chemistry and Physics from the Bowling Green State University and his degree in Dentistry from The Ohio State University. After serving in the Vietnam War, Ray and his wife moved to Troy and opened his practice in dentistry which he was active in for 27 years. Services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church, 110 W. Franklin Street, Troy, OH with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Interment will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH with Veterans Honor Guard services at the graveside. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home, 555 N.
